DEFINITIONS

HOW TO configure your fan

Design your next fan in under a minute.

With just five inputs—airflow, static pressure, cabinet size, and voltage—the Q-PAC Fan Configurator builds a tailored fan solution for your application. While multiple fans may fit your specs, the configurator automatically selects the best match based on efficiency, power use, and price.

Choose your Fan Controller Location to match site power and controls, then round out your system with optional accessories like a fused disconnect or a Q-PAC Control Panel. This video walks you through the process—start to finish.

Can't find a valid configuration? Try adjusting your inputs.

The Q-PAC Fan supports a wide range of cabinet sizes, plug fan models, and arrangements—but not every combination works, especially at high face velocities. If a valid configuration isn't available, explore other options by adjusting your cabinet dimensions, airflow, or static pressure. Small tweaks can also yield better-performing options.

Small changes, big differences.

Even slight adjustments to your airflow, static pressure, or cabinet size can return different fan configurations—with meaningful shifts in efficiency, power consumption, or resiliency. The configurator always aims for the best balance, but if you're weighing trade-offs, test a few variations to find the setup that fits your priorities.
