Q-PAC Expands Q-PAC Fan Line with New 575-Volt Option for Commercial HVAC Applications

New 575-volt Q-PAC Fan supports packaged units and Canadian projects

Q-PAC, a leader in the design and manufacturing of commercial HVAC fan systems, is expanding its offering with a new 575-volt option for commercial HVAC applications. Available early August, the new configuration brings the same integrated design, installation advantages, and controls compatibility that define the broader Q-PAC Fan, but now offers the option to use 575V EC plug fans for customers that utilize 575-volt power.

The 575-volt Q-PAC Fan is particularly well suited for packaged-unit applications and is expected to be especially relevant in Canada, where 575-volt power is commonly used in commercial and industrial environments. It gives engineers, OEMs, and contractors a new way to apply the Q-PAC Fan in projects that utilize 575 volts as part of the base system design.

The Q-PAC Fan is designed to simplify installation and support consistent, resilient performance in demanding commercial environments. This added resiliency helps reduce the risk of a full system shutdown and supports continuous operation in commercial buildings and other high-demand applications.

The unit’s compact footprint and simple assembly were intentionally developed to simplify transport and installation in virtually any part of a building, including tight spaces such as elevators and stairways. This streamlined approach reduces handling challenges and accelerates setup, helping teams move efficiently from delivery to operation. The Q-PAC Fan reduces electrical installation effort through pre-wired motors and plug-terminated harnesses, minimizing field wiring and the need for specialized labor. When maintenance is required, motors can be disconnected and replaced without modifying system wiring, reducing service time and downtime. Maintenance-free ECM motors eliminate routine preventative maintenance common to conventional belt-driven fan systems.

For building automation integration, Q-PAC’s Premium Control Panel supports both BACnet/IP and BACnet MS/TP, giving customers compatibility with modern IP-based networks as well as established legacy infrastructure. With BACnet/IP operating over standard Ethernet networks, the platform supports faster data transmission, more flexible network design, and easier integration with broader building automation systems.

Q-PAC also pairs the new 575-volt option with industry-leading speed to market. In addition to its 48-Hour Quick Build option for qualifying applications, the company supports fast turnaround through available in-stock inventory. It also utilizes a manufacturing-on-demand approach, enabling production to align with specific project specifications while helping customers stay on schedule for replacements, upgrades, and new installations.
